SUSTAINABILITY

VAILLANT is transitioning towards more sustainable modes of production. 

We privilege the use of yarns and fabrics coming from responsible suppliers and manage carefully our production in collaboration with trusted manufacturers that pay fair wages and ensure ethical workplace standards, primarily in France, Poland, and Turkey.

We frequently use fabrics made of recycled polyester (such as our faux fur), FSC certified viscose, and organic cotton denim. We use dead stock fabrics when possible, to utilize existing materials and reduce textile waste. Relegating the use of animal leather for carefully crafted garments and accessories that most benefit from the unique qualities and durability of this material, ensuring that the pieces can be worn and enjoyed for many years. All our products are labelled with recycled polyester tags.

The individual items in your order will be packaged in recycled plastic sachets and placed in a plastic package or cardboard box. Please remove all plastic tape and stickers on the package once you receive your order. The remaining shipping package/box, plastic garment sachets, and paper shipping/customs documents can be recycled.

CARE

It is always preferable to dry clean your garment, despite the hassle. If possible, by an ecologically responsible dry cleaner company.  If indicated on the care label, certain garments can be carefully handwashed and lain flat to air dry. Machine washing is discouraged because the tumbling process will damage the fibres and stitching of even the most durable garments over time. If you choose to machine wash a garment, please use the most gentle cycle, cold water, and avoid harsh cleaning agents such as bleach. Please never machine dry a garment, the heat will cause the structure of the fabric to contract and the garment will likely shrink. Lay garment flat to air dry. 

In accordance with applicable intellectual property law, use of the website and its component parts is authorized for private use only. 

VAILLANT has the right to modify the content of the website at any time and without notice.

All items ship from our warehouse in France. Please allow 2-3 business days for processing of your order.

All orders are shipped with DHL or Colissimo, depending on the destination. A link to track your order will be sent to you upon shipment dispatch. 

Shipment transit times vary per country and shipping method. 

Europe: 1-3 business days

North America: 3-5 business days

Asia & Oceania: 3-7 business days

VAILLANT is not responsible for any delays occurring in transit once your order is dispatched to the delivery carrier.

Applicable taxes on your order will be calculated at checkout. VAILLANT is not responsible for international costs or customs duties for importing to your country of residence from France.

VAILLANT accepts returns within 14 calendar days of delivery date of full priced items. All items must be returned unused and in selleable condition, with all original tags and packaging intact. Shoe outsoles are extremely fragile, they must be unmarked and in their original condition. To avoid damage, we recommend trying on shoes on a clean, carpeted surface. 

All orders delivered within Europe will arrive with a pre-paid return shipping label inside the package that can be used should you wish to return your order in full or partially. Orders delivered outside of Europe must be shipped back at the cost of the client, and the return process must be initiated by emailing CONTACT@VAILLANTSTUDIO.COM. We will reply to confirm your request within 2-3 business days, along with return shipment instructions.

Please complete returns in a timely manner. Your order refund will be processed once item is returned to us and reviewed. 

Please note shipping fees are nonrefundable. Pre-order, swimwear, underwear and sale items are not eligible for returns.
